Early 1990s Japanese Game Expo Photos (2/2)

Here's the second batch of photos, from 1993 and 1994:

AM Show 1993

The guy in the middle is supposedly Jaleco's Jun Saito. Not that I could recognize him...

I think this is some kind of fortune teller machine

Space World 1993

AOU 1993

CSG 1994

AOU 1994
Only one tiny image for this one, unfortunately.

Tokyo Toy Show 1994

This is the oldest photo where I've ever seen the classic bathing suits on a video game event.

Super Famicom Earth World 1994
Earth World used to be the counterpart of Nintendo's Space World, not open for the public but only intended for the press and industry.

Lord British was there, too, probably to promote some Ultima SNES port.

    1. At least we aren't dealing with fade-tops and mullets. But honestly I can stand any of those compared to the "emo" haircuts of today. Ugh.

  2. Wow, these are amazing. I remember when these photos would've been cutting edge stuff. It still feels like the 90s were only yesterday... sigh

  3. Man... the thought of entering a Technos booth somewhere... *drool*

  5. I miss this era of gaming so much! :*( I agree w/ one of the above comments; it does seem like the 90s were only yesterday. Thanks for this post! -A
