The Nintendo Power Retrospectives - Part 1
For the past few months, I've been doing a bi-weekly series on YouTube re-capping old issues of Nintendo Power, starting with the Fun Club News, and doing reviews of each game featured in the magazine. If this sounds familiar, I started something like this earlier in written form.

Pants, meet shit, y'all. I was just playing FAMICOM DETECTIVE CLUB II, which is the best text adventure game I've ever played, and at the beginning theres a message form Nintendo Power re; the game/system. There's a great english patch done by tomato of starmen for the game -- I highly reccomend it. It's very Hotel Dusk-y at times -- the atmosphere is incredible. The music alone is reason enough to ply the game; the Super Metroid producer ripping off Argento's "Deep Red" the whole time, just amazing. Highly reccomended.
