Update - 2/13 - Raiden, Knuckle Bash, Tail of the Sun

This weekend's been all sorts of ridicubusy, but that hasn't stopped the shooter coverage from continuing. This week's article is a look at Raiden, which dovetails nicely with the Toaplan Shooters piece from last week, because they're fairly similar to each other. To be honest, I'm not really fan of the standard Raiden series, except for the awesome toothpaste laser (and once you see it in action, it is impossible to hate) but the Raiden Fighters games are pretty excellent. The Raiden Fighters Aces pack for the Xbox 360 retails for $20 and is an amazing value for the three shooters provided, even though it's not as fancy looking as the (otherwise inferior) Raiden IV. And on a non-shooter note, also have a quick look at Knuckle Bash, a parody-flavored take on the side-scrolling beat-em-up. The featured article this week is Broken Sword, which mostly updates bits and pieces of its recent appearances on the iOS - they're really cheap and unlike the DS version, actually includes full voice acting, plus the English voice versions of Broken Sword 2.5 have since been released. And Your Weekly Kusoge is Tail of the Sun, which is one of those uniquely weird Japanese games that just didn't work, but provides for some amusing laughes. It somehow made its away onto the NA PSN, so it might be worth the $6 to watch your caveman randomly fall asleep when running through the fields and then slide off a cliff.
