Old Korean Gaming Mags (part 3.5)

Here's a mag that should have been in the last post, only I didn't even know about its existence then. It was called Game News and also started out with original cover art, dropped this soon, though. It was rather shortlived (I think it ended in 93 or 94), which explains why it is rather unknown.
Not too much to tell about it, its probably the least informative mag I got so far.
I got a couple more issues of Game Wold, though:
Here are a few more covers:
And some I don't own (there are still a few where I could hope to find coverage of stuff I'm missing so far, but I don't think I'm getting any more. It's becoming just to expensive):
The first issue ever (sadly not in my possession):
And something special:
Can't guess the game depicted here? That's no surprise, cause as far as I know, no one in the west has ever seen or heard about it (not until I entered its title in a Wikipedia article, anyway). You'll get to know it, soon.
Game World also eventually dropped the original cover art after about two years. here's how the mag looked in 1995:
In place of the covers came doodles similar to the ones in Game Champ, though. As the stuff was liked in the last post, here are a few more examples, from both Game Champ and Game World (mostly Game World this time):
That's it for now. I'm gonna make a "real" next post some time next week, showing a couple of mags from the mid- to late 90's.
Skate: Hurry up! You're taking too long to release my replacement leg.
ReplyDeleteAxel: Well, you shouldn't have had it cut off during the fight. And why did we have to hide the bio-mechanical replacement growth unit inside my butt anyway?
