It helps that its story's somewhat unique among its contemporaries, though who knows if it plays well or not. What excites are its party management mechanics: the MobyGames description suggests there's emphasis on resting, strategic navigation of overworld terrain, weapon deterioration to tangle with, and some more complex battle strategies than were the norm.
